Language used to be my only method of expression; however, body language has slowly become how I think and create. Movements are no longer just meaningless forms but the starting points of my thoughts; they carry sensation and form new meanings. The body is the direct way for me to have a conversation with the world. Breath, pauses, and extensions are all silent words, while gestures and movements create changing concepts. Through my body , I feel the weight and freedom of thought, allowing me to break the restrictions of language and create my own ways of speaking. The holes on these boxes work like camera obscuras: looking through them, people can see inverted and softly filtered images of our daily surroundings, similar to the way bodily memory amplifies realities from unique perspectives. I feel, therefore I am; this is the essential way for me to understand myself and the world.
